Fall Sports Classic

Special Olympics Utah’s 2017 Fall Sports Classic will be held on October 13th – 14th, 2017 at the University of Utah, Regional Athletic Complex, and Rose Park Golf Course. Nearly 1,000 athletes and Unified Sports partners will compete during this two-day event and will receive support from nearly 500 coaches and hundreds of day-of-volunteers. Competition will be held in the following sports:

  • Soccer and Unified Sports Soccer – Regional Soccer Complex       2280 N Rose Park Lane, Salt Lake City, UT 84116
  • 3v3 Basketball and Basketball Skills – UofU HPER Center
  • Bocce – Ft. Douglas (near UofU) 200 Fort Douglas Blvd.
  • Golf – Rose Park Golf Course 1386 North Redwood Road
  • MATP (Motor Activities Training Program) – At all venues

Registration Due Date:

September 22nd for Basketball, Basketball Skills, Soccer and Unified Sports Soccer, and Golf. Bocce registration is based on area bocce competitions. Please contact your regional program manager for bocce registration and area competition date. Delegations must complete at their area bocce compete to advance to state competition.

Be a Volunteer – Be a Fan!

Our games would not be made possible without the support of our day-of-event volunteers. We accept volunteers ages 12 and older (12 – 15 must have adult supervision, 16+ may volunteer independently). Any age is welcome to volunteer to cheer as a Fan in the Stands. Please email Corynn Benoit, Volunteer Coordinator, at volunteer@sout.org for availability.

Register for Fall Sports Classic

Athletes and partners must participate in their respective area competitions in order to qualify for the Fall Sports Classic.

Please note, some registration forms have been changed to help make data collection easier for staff members located around the state. We apologize for any inconvenience but hope this will allow a more streamlined registration experience.
