Online Training Opportunities

A number of companies/organizations offer sport-specific online trainings at a low-cost to help Special Olympics with continuing education experiences. Please note, the volunteer is responsible for any/all related expenses.

Please click on the training name for a direct link to the course.

Coaching Special Olympics Athletes - Cost: $16.95 for a 3-hour course via the American Sport Education Program

Coaching Unified Sports - Cost: Free for a 90-minute course via the National Federation of High Schools website

Principles of Coaching for Special Olympics - Cost: $35 for a 9-hour course, Expanding the Sport Sciences, via West Virginia's Extended Learning website

Both the American Sport Education Program and National Federation of High Schools have sport-specific courses; however, they do not currently offer online trainings for every Special Olympics Utah sport.
