Polar Plunge
Together, You Raised $74,403!
The 2026 Polar Plunge Series may be over, but the impact is just getting started.
This winter, hundreds of brave (and slightly bonkers) plungers across Utah stepped up, suited up, and jumped in to support Special Olympics Utah athletes — and together you raised $74,403 for inclusion.
From creative costumes to icy leaps and unforgettable moments, the Polar Plunge once again proved that when our community comes together, incredible things happen.
Every dollar raised helps support more than 5,000 Special Olympics Utah athletes through year-round sports training, health programs, leadership development, and inclusive opportunities across the state.
And yes… the water was cold. But the impact? Absolutely powerful.
Four Plunges. One Incredible Community.
The 2026 Polar Plunge Series brought the energy across Utah with four unforgettable events:
- Daybreak Polar Plunge — January 17
- NEW! Stadium Plunge @ America First Field — January 29
- North Area Polar Plunge @ North Shore Aquatic Center — February 7
- South Area Polar Plunge @ Lake at the Hills — February 21
Each event brought together athletes, law enforcement partners, families, businesses, and community members who all believe in the power of inclusion.
Why the Plunge Matters
Funds raised through the Polar Plunge help provide:
- Training and competition opportunities for athletes of ALL abilities
- Health screenings and wellness programs
- Athlete leadership and unified sports experiences
- Lifelong friendships, confidence, and community connection
Every splash supports something bigger.
Thank You, Utah
To every plunger, fundraiser, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter — thank you.
You showed up, you took the leap, and you made a real difference for Special Olympics Utah athletes.
The Polar Plunge continues to grow each year because of the passion and commitment of this incredible community.
Ready for the Next One?
The ice will return… and so will the challenge.
Next year? We go even bigger.
Stay tuned for the 2027 Polar Plunge Series and get ready to once again take the #UltimateShiver for inclusion.
