Sports and Fitness Programs
The heart of the Special Olympics program, our sports and fitness programs are what get our athletes motivated to work and push to become stronger, better athletes. Whether they are running, swimming, catching or throwing, they are determined to beat their personal bests every time. Whether or not they win the gold, they feel the pride and accomplishment of simply getting out of the field and playing hard.
Currently, Special Olympics Utah offers 9 Olympic-style individual and team sports, as well as a Motor Activities Training program. Each season provides meaningful training, competition and fitness opportunities to our athletes.
